Cistern floats up after first rain. After draining the hole and filling the tank partially with water, a covering of gravel and soil successfully held down the tank.

Cupola fan detail Mar 2005. Two cupolas were designed for both passive and active venting. Mechanical pivot vents combined with south facing metal solar chimney design allows for passive venting. During summer, when temperatures continue to rise above desirable levels, one cupola has a two-speed thermostat fan. The other fan has a humidostat and thermostat control.
